With tens of millions of dollars in cash on hand, Republican Senators returning to the 110th Congress expressed little regret over not providing more money to shore up the campaigns of their defeated colleagues this November, according to an article in The Hill...So the whiny-ass Republicans who got their asses kicked are whimpering about not getting enough money from the Republican National Committee? Here you have probably the most pathetic of the Republicans who were thrown out of Congress, George Allen complaining that he didn't have enough money when the fact of the matter is, Allen outspent James Webb, 2 to 1.
But one prominent defeated incumbent, George Allen of Virginia, saw things differently. He remarked "Heck, when you lose a race as close as ours was, by three-tenths of one percent, it’s like a close football game when you lose by one point."
No, sorry losers-it wasn't the money. Your problem is that even the ignorant in this country, the ones who have voted Republican for the last few election cycles, have finally figured it out. You should get used to the ass-kicking because it's not over yet.
