SEOUL (Kyodo) Foreign Minister Taro Aso and his South Korean counterpart, Ban Ki Moon, agreed Friday to step up cooperation on the North Korean nuclear threat and to effectively and swiftly enforce the U.N. sanctions resolution against Pyongyang.
On Thursday, Aso met with Ban and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. They discussed trilateral cooperation to expedite the sanctions against North Korea in line with the U.N. Security Council resolution.
